The feminine collective has been buried for thousands and thousands of years. Choking on the dirt beneath the feet of her masculine counterpart. Her mouth covered, gagging her voice as to not be heard. Choking on the dirt that is being used to bury her.
She has been Made to crawl and beg for food to feed her fatherless children, and used as a toy for sexual pleasure, defiling her holy nature. Raped. Ravaged. Used. Pillaged. Defiled. Since the beginning of man (not so) kind. Only to be tossed in the gutter as her youth fades upon her giving of all that she is.
She has bore her breasts to feed and nurture all of those she has loved. Depleting herself. Feeding her community from the cup of her bosom, the sweet nectar of her loving gifts. Worrying, watching and silently protecting all who are weak and needy. Looking after the elderly, caring for the children, the animals, the earth. Often penniless. With only her love – she carries on in pursuit of her truth.
Delicate butterfly in the midst of a thorn bush. Sharing her beauty in spite of her own demise. Bravely beautiful. Fiercely delicate. Softly invincible. Soul. Goddess. Divine being.
The blood of her womb revealing the labor of her love and her desire as it is silently suffocated in the noise of the worldly chaos. Oracle wisdom that persists through the concrete of the hearts that defile her.
